The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Nova Scotia (CLPNNS) wants you to know that your personal information is handled in a secure manner and that your privacy is protected.

Our commitment to you...

Starting in January, 2004, federal legislation came into effect governing the use and protection of personal information. The new legislation is called PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). Today our Privacy Policies and Procedures comply with federal requirements and CLPNNS Policies. CLPNNS will collect, use, share and store personal information in accordance with the LPN Act and Bylaws, #41-43.

Personal information is any information that can identify you as an individual. During the course of registration and re-licensing, CLPNNS collects personal information to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
